Çamlıhemşin is the most important town of Rize. It is population is 2500
and 6000 with it is villages but it changes in winter and in summer.
There are 3 or 5 family in Ayder plateau in winter. It is population is
5000 in summer. People live in big cities in winter. They visit Ayder
and Fırtına Valley in summer very often. Because they miss their own
country very much. The children born in big cities want to see and
understand the natural and cultural structure of this area in summer.
These crowd of people do plateaus rejoicings. Every night passes with
celebration and amusements. In this area a musical instrument made of
leather Tulum is played and horon ( a kind of folk dance ) is played.
